floor treatment and plasterboarding

Hi, I've just screeded my garage floor by approx 2-2.5 inches to bring it level with the floor in he house. Do I need to treat the floor or seal it with anything? what should i use and how long before I can laminate the floor or put any floor covering on it?

Also, I'm going to plasterboard out the walls, what thickness and type of board should i use? thanks

you should use gyproc 12mm thick board and they come in varios sizes, 1.8x90, 2.4x1.2, 3x1.2 so select right hieght for job as for the floor about 3 weeks should do, you can hire damp testers for a pitance from any hire shop to be sure.

Thanks, what about concrete treatments, ie waterseal or something ? is it wise?
