I have had a T&G floor delivered 6mtr x 3.6mtr that was spec'd to be 19mm T&G. What arrived was 16mm T&G.

The floor is supported on 38x75 joists running lengthways 6mtrs. The joists are set at outside edge then 600mm-joist-390mm-joist-600mm-joist-390mm and so on alternate across the width of 3.6mtr.

The floor seems to be uncomfortably springy over the 600mm spans.

Can someone with tables let me know what the difference in floor acceptable loading would be as is with 16mm T&G and also with the spec'd 19mm T&G.

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure ? 6 m span

Sorry should have said its a workshop floor so its expected that the 38x75 joists are resting on a concrete base or supporting timber framework.

The loading I am interested in is between the joists, widest being 600mm. For the sake of the calcs the joists can be said to be laid on flat concrete.

why 600 - 390 - 600 - 390 - etc?

seems a very strange way to create a floor...
