I'm renovating my bathroom (which was a bit of a bodge). We have ripped up the old ugly tiles and now are left with the original floorboards from the 1900s.
They seem to be in pretty good nick so we are planning on keeping them as they are and painting them. What's the best way to seal them so any water on the floor doesn't ingress into the kitchen below? I've seen several solutions, draughtex or pva glue + saw dust. The latter doesn't seem that good if you want to paint it. There are a few largish gaps which need closing.
