Hi there
Hoping somebody might have some ideas about this problem. Groundfloor wet room has Hansgrohe thermostatc shower. All water is mains pressure, hot is combi boiler. The shower has suffered recently with loud harmonic vibrations which temporarily stop when the temerature is adjusted on the shower. Hansgrohe support suggests reducing flow rate on cold side to solve it which makes sense. BUT, cold to wet room has a gate valve and I've reduced the cold rate here so that flow to basin is now similar between hot and cold. The problem persists though. So my question, is reducing the flow using the gate valve not the best way? should I be fitting something different like the Altecnic regulator valves. Any one else had a problem like this? All suggestions gratefully recieved.
