firstly i would just like to say hello to everyone on these forums.

anyway. I'm helping my dad out. he has a glow worm swift flow 100, and it appears his flue fan is always on. this doesnt seem normal to me, but im not really familiar with the model, so im just asking is this normal ? and if not (which i suspect its not) could you give me any information on what may be the cause of it.

If it has a pilot flame it's normal for the fan to run continuously at slow speed.

The Swiftflow has a permanent pilot and as such the fan runs at low speed to provide air for the pilot to remain stable.
