Hi Guys,
Boiler is Worcester Bosch Greenstar I
I'm having a lean too built. There's only 100mm between the roof and the intake on the termination above
300mm is required I gather.
Moving the flue up inside is not an option due to staircase. 150mm max..
So the only option is horizontal out of boiler through behind wall (as it is now) 90 up 1m (could be 0.5m?) then 90 to horizontal with termination. ugly yes! But want it safe.
Then I came across this..
https://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/p.../faqs/all-faqs/can-i-run-boiler-flues-outside
Now you can run flue outside the white flue too?
So I was informed by 2 RGI'S that it can't be done.
Both have now confirmed on the phone with Worcester Bosch and apparently it can be done as long as joints are sealed and clamped to wall .
What do you guys think ? Obviously I want it done properly.
