Help. We have a semi detached house and we want to install a flue system ( open fire ), which would sit on an inside wall to our next door neighbour. The room is currently stripped back to plaster and the original chimney removed from the middle of the room, against a back wall as the wall was removed to make the room bigger. The flue system as I understand it would go up through the ceiling, up through the wall above, through the roof nd our of the chimney. When I brought in a bespoke company they wanted 2 grand plus. When I priced the system up myself, the flue system was £350 plus fitting.
