I'm going to fit a ventilation flue tho' my tiled roof, I have ordered up a lil universal kit to achieve this however I was wondering if anyone had any words to the wise on the subject.

Things like ..... Woo I'd have one of these "*****" as well ..... or something like that

what do you intend venting through this duct?

what type of tiles do you have on the roof?

It'll be a central heating boiler & the tiles are Hand made clay, Circa 1940/50

Look at these

They are available from Roofing Merchants

For ease of fitting I would go for the one with the neoprene collar

i concur with Roofer. use some silicone lubricant to ease the pipe through the rubber.

ooer missus.

Oddly enough I watched this dude doing one today ...... He just removed a tile, (In one piece too Obviously a craftsman) underlapped it with the tile above ...... Tapped the lead a bit wiv a block O' woof shaping it & slid the flue in ..... Musta taken him ... 3 mins all in ....... Groovy not too difficult at all then :)

It took me ages to find some spare tiles fer that roof..... The wavey bits are cone shaped ...... So ya romans won't link in without loads of trimming with a grinder..... I have a secret stash in me garage now ;) just in case ..... err .... err a errant helecopter lands on me house :D
