I have a WG 1034 t and when I switch it on and set it to any programme the machine 'grumbles'. I cannot influence the machine to do anything other than this grumbling sound.
Can any kindly soul start me off how to diagnose the problem step by step. I intuitively feel that this may be a problem to do with the card that incorporates the machines various wash programmes; a tranmission belt problem, or a water pump problem. The only thing that I thibnk is that the Motor is working, as it makes a grumbling sound, and everything is kicked off by the motor driving an initial process to make the machine do its job.
We had an Indesit from when I was a child in 1974, and my mother threw it out when it started leaking. I fixed it once and got a few years more out of it. I am convinced it would be still around if she had it repaired in 2000 and would not be getting more regular problems with more modern machinery!
