Ok so Thames Water left a blue mark on my water meter cover so i knew something was not right.
I happened to be just about to enter my front garden n the TW guy is there checking it, he says there is a leak somewhere, hoping its not between the stopcock inside the house to main water meter in pavement.
After running tests, shutting stopcock and then check meter and then on again he ascertained the issue is inside the house, he proceeded to check the 3 toilets in the house and work out one has slight leak by putting toilet paper at the end of it and checking to see if it gets wet. My guess the flush valve may need replacing or reseating. Not losing lots of water, and he says its a very slight sleak.
Its a toilet from wickes , Portland one i think that was installed 2 years ago, how easy is it to change the valve?
Thanks
