what is the best way to keep flies out of the garden not sure if they are flees but they might be green flies

Put a sign up

If they are green fly, then they are after the plants, If they are house flies then there is probably some decaying material there.

Try using soap suds and flicking it on the plants infested. The bubbles get rid of the greenfly, but they do not damage your plants.

Get the mrs to buy washing up liquid with Aloe Vera in.

Great for killing green + black fly (and keeps her hands lovley and soft)
