i've a small oil leak coming from the sump on my focus
are these sumps prone to corrosion ? - looks like the previous owner has tried a repair on the sump with some chemical metal or such like
either its corrosion or its speed bump related - i've not fully investigated the extent of the damage - altho its limited to the front corner
ill probably remove it at the weekend and see about welding it up - question is how easy is it to remove the sump and will i have to mess about with the exhaust downpipe (maybe the sump pickup pipe will be in the road?)
