Focus 2003 How to read the OBD2

THere was apost on here that said how to read the OBD2 code on a Corsa.
This worked I read the code.
I now have the light up on my Focus would like to know what the fault it.
I have found a site that gives the fault once you have the code.
I tried to read the code the same way it works on the corsa but doest work.
The corsa for info is.
Get in car and put accel and brake to floor
turn ignition to 2 so lights on dash all come on
the light should flash out the code
ie 10-3-10-10 would be 0300 google p0300 it will be a Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected,
Maf code is 0100

iirc you need a obd2 lead to read any faults codes,unless you have a multi function steering wheel then i can tell you how to do it.

Whats the mutifunction wheel
I have a 2003 ghia if that helps.
