FOLLOW UP TO HOTPOINT AQUARIOUS ON/OFF SWITCH

Hi all. This maybe of interest for anyone having problems with there on/off switch with Hotpoint Aquarious washing machine. After posting Hotpoint Aquarius on/off switch not working I took the top off to have a look only to find a cicuit board, thought that will be expensive and it was £90-00. So did not know whether to repair old machine or replace. On the circuit board there were very small buttons for each button that was on front of the machine. I started pressing these for no particular reason and then thought perhaps I should put it back in and see what happens, I did and guess what it's worked since, saving me a lot of money.
