ok whats your views on this one as i know it is a good idea and has been mentioned more than once by some governing officials

if nothing else it would make them feel unwelcome and stop any cash they get going towards there evil religious beliefs

Would fat illegal immigrants be able to enrole under several names and claim lots of food stamps?

I really don't see what is demeaning about it for someone claiming asylum. The situation in their country is (at least should be, if that is their claim) that they are in immediate danger, possibly at risk of death. They come here to escape that. If we are protecting them and seeing to their needs, feeding them by whatever means be it cash or stamps or even meals on wheels, then I'm sure the genuine asylum seekers would be happy.

Seeing as they generally live in communities amongst other asylum seekers, surely there would be lots of people using the food stamps in the same shops in the same area? It's not like you are asking them to wander into Harrod's food court or the Ritz with their food stamps

I dont see what's demeaning about it if you claim any state money, how can you be stigmatised when every single family in the country recieves state aid sometime in their lives from family allowence on kids to dole money.

Those who object dont have a leg to stand on, at it wopuld stop any abuse of the system.

Sod the food stamps, put them in work camps to pay the cost of processing their claims and only let them go if they are allowed to stay, if their application is refused you simply deport them by the plane load..

Work gangs for country lane repairs and other such community work springs to mind...

Now watch the liberals cry, stamp their feet and wail to the hills at that suggestion!!

I dunno about just the immigrants, I'd give food stamps to the born-and-bred unemployed people who abuse the system in this country too.

They would only sell them. I had some scrote who was hanging about in the baby food section of sainsburys ask if i wanted to by some baby milk vouchers (yes they get them free as well). I said too right, saved myself a fortune
Also when i was at school i used to get free school dinners. They would give us tokens which we would promptly sell in the playground and then buy 10 fags.

Where there is a will there is a way. (i think)

What flavour stamps ? Make 'em chewable, for when the shops are shut.

They would sell the stamps. ie If you were offered a £1 stamp for 50p YOU WOULD.
