A program on the telly got me thinking the other day.

Guy Fawkes confession was tortured out of him, was he really guilty?

He never denied his guilt. I thought he was tortured to give the names of his fellow plotters (which the authoroties already knew)?

Was he a terrorist or a freedom fighter though?

He's now living on benefits in the U.K. Wonder if he ever bothered to contribute to the system he is now sponging off while he enjoyed the high life abroad? Don't think so.
