Hello
I am new to here but have read many many postings over the last few days ... and am now totally confused
I am creating a shower enclosure in our ensuite. Three walls are studded but have no surface covering at this moment. I have already bought the tanking kit and was planning to use this over the plasterboard, however after reading everything I am now unsure which substrate would be best. As I am definitely tanking the walls is it ok to use regular plasterboard or would something like MDF or ply etc be better? The surfaces will then all be tiled using waterproof adhesive and grout.
Whatever we use we have yet to buy so, other than trying to keep costs down, we can go with the recommendations.
Many thanks
Heather
