temp gage going up when accelerating after just having new water pump and new radiator fitted can anyone help

I would check and bleed the system to remove any trapped air.( ensure heater setting is on hot when you bleed and circulate )

I have exactly the same car as you and the thermostat & housing needed replacing. Check that your not leaking anti-freeze. If you are then you may have the same problem as I did. Not an expensive repair, around £75 at a garage.
