When I lock/unlock my car, the central locking constantly is in use ie it locks/unlocks the doors constantly, even when driving, parked etc. The only way I can stop it is to disconnect the battery. Have looked for the fuse but its not labelled. Am really broke after Xmas so cant afford the mechanic. Do you have a temporary solution? Many thanks for your time, Sam.. :confused:

temporary fix, remove the door card on the drivers door and unplug the the central locking plug from the mechanism.

then just lock all doors manually.

worked on my bros ford mondeo untill the parts were ordered.

Can anyone help please? Have taken the drivers door to pieces and found a connection by the inside door handle, disconnected that but all the other doors still lock/unlock constantly. Obviously its not that connection that will stop them all but where is the thing that I am supposed to disconnect, the one that stops all of them? Is it by the inside door handle or by the actual door lock on the outside? As you may have guessed, I am not a mechanic!!!! :LOL:

Well I used to own a Mazda 626 with the same problem on the central locking.
You say youve disconnected the drivers central locking... if you want to disconnect all of them at once, you will need to disconnect the wiring harness from the main central locking unit, or perhaps remove the fuse from in the engine bay. The central locking unit is most probably in the dashboard somewhere.

My heater matrix leaked onto the central locking unit in my Mazda and I then had no heating or central locking! ={
