Hi,
How can I tell if my hot water cylinder is a fortic one or not? I do have a cold water tank above the hwc, if it was a fortic would I not have this cold water tank? I do know the cylinder is a self filling indirect model - single feed, what does this mean?

Many thanks for any help,
Steve

Ok,
I've now found out my cylinder is a primatic one. I was wondering how easy/difficult this would be to replace? I guess I will get an indirect cylinder and put the CHW tank in the loft while keeping the DHW tank I have now in the same place. I guess there is no chance of putting in a power shower with this setup?

Thanks,
Steve

Why don 't you move the storage tank to the roof when you do the header tank.

You need a minimum 50 gallons actual for a power shower.

Buy a new cylinder with a secondary return tapping, ideal for shower pumps
