Click to expand... I tried it with the edge of the touchpad on my acer laptop, where you scroll pages up and down, and this worked.

It works on all websites - it's not a forum feature, it's a browser one. IE7 & Firefox both zoom in and out with Ctrl + and Ctrl - and with options on the View drop-down menu. Firefox lets you set it to just zoom the text, leaving images alone. IE7 also has a little pane in the bottom RH corner where you can control the zoom. I expect other browsers also offer the facility in one way or another.
