The rules are IMO a generation by a rather rude short tempered person. The whole style of the rules is not so much succinct, as "push off if you don't like the police state". I am surprised how the rules have developed and the point of reference for the rules appear to be nothing, other than a rant type response.

Well

why don't the people who use this forum write a set of rules and put them to the mods and see if an agreement can be reached. Then the the mods won't feel got at and everyone will be posting to agreed rules

After all, if all the Sparkies in here can cope with the part P regs this shouldn't be to hard

Also one thing that people forget is there are people who join a forum and give advice, if those people go then so will everybody else eventually.

It is the members that make a forum NOT THE OWNER OR THE MODS so when they decide what to allow and what to delete i think they ought to bear in mind on what they actually want a successful forum or a place that people look at but nobody posts.

If you want links to forums which have been ruined by idiots in control i can post them if you want.

There is a difference between someone giving advice and others that are just abusive and it is those people the rules are normally quoted to.

On another forum they wanted to get rid of the chat part cause of arguments, the result was there was nothing to keep members on the forum when not posting info--it died and they re-opened the chat but by then people had found other places to entertain.

Point being loathe or love--each member brings their own input and adds to the forum i have only ever known one person who ever bought forums down and he was got rid of by the other members because of allegations on to his pervy activities--so he wasnt missed but the rest of you would be missed even Kendor ---oh my god i feel ill----medic!--medic!
