I may be being dense but how does one list just the threads one has posted in?

Click on 'search' link at top of page and enter your username in 'author' (last) option on the search form and click 'search' button.

Or click this link //www.diynot.com/search/forum-author.php and enter your username.

Simples.
On the forum home page, simply click on "view your posts" in the top RH corner, underneath "View posts since last visit".

I never noticed that as my bookmark takes me straight into the Combustion Chamber, where those links are missing.

I've never noticed those links either as like you Mike bookmark goes to Combustion Chamber but search method lists them provided you are logged in.

Thats because the CC is secret & excluded from the basic search, you'd need to go the long way for that.
