Foundation advice near to property

Hi all, newbie to the site so any advice is much appreciated. Early last year I hired someone to erect a fence, lay a patio and composite decking. Long story short it didn't go to plan. Fence got done and half of patio which has now turned green. Any way question I need to ask is to do with foundation and safety. In the pics attached you can see how garden was originally next to house when I moved in. Later pictures show how it was all dug out and how deep and close to the house it is. I know nothing about building regs etc but am concerned as been left over a year now and am cocerned if could possibly affect house foundations and if so best course of action to take. All ground removed was hard soil with odd bits of lumpy clay between. Some drainage was put in (which I believe was shoddy also under current patio thats half done) where you can see trenches in photos. Please help.

The garden won't affect the houses foundations, so please try to stop worrying about it.

Might be an idea to build something to retain the soil hardcore under the path (a small wall or sleepers etc). Do these pipes go anywhere? soakaway/drain?

If the pipe in your pictures are perforated, they really should be wrapped in membrane to stop them silting up.

Not sure what else you need help with, but ask away, I'm sure you'll get some more replies.

Many thanks for your reply, I was more worried as he'd dug quite deep near to house and because of concrete steps etc wasn't sure how long it would last or indeed lead to further damage to property foundation. Basically am I correct in saying that even if the hard-core / steps etc near to house were to be removed it wouldn't cause structural damage. Am in process if somebody coming to look about a retaining wall infront at present.

Yes they are perforated but all he did was put like a weed control fabric across the tops and taped them on when did say was getting clips of some sort. They lead to the grass you can see but still In the trench towards a down sloping garden. Several Patio flags was then laid on top after compacted etc and been like that since hence why gone green. Hoping to sort soon when weather improves.
