Foundation Layout question.

Should the Brick and block wall be central to the foundations or built offset ... closer to the perimeter of the concrete?
What is an acceptable tolerance of position?

Should be central, within tolerances of your average digger bucket. Any significant areas of it visibly off centre is probably not good…

It won't make much of any difference, any respectable engineer could probably prove a completely eccentric foundation will be fine, how off centre are we talking?

It's hypothetical. I'm sure I've seen drawings where the walls were close to the outer perimeter but I suspected that a central line was the logical path.
