i have a new TV, all programs scheduled with the old set are recording every time. Everything set to record since new TV installed fail.

Nothing appears on the list of recorded programs, but are listed in the schedule. Connected via HDMI

Is this about a Humax Foxsat satellite TV receiver?
Your report is extremely vague. Please state make and model numbers.
Please provide more details of settings, error messages and anything else you do and observe.

I was just about to say the same as Sam Gangee.

There's really nothing that should stop a Freesat recorder from making recordings simply by changing the TV. Most likely is that the cables behind have been disturbed, and probably without you realising it you have moved the satellite cables and one or more feeders has come out of the screw-on plug ends.

If I were in your shoes then I would start by checking the plug ends for the satellite cables. Unscrew them from the Foxsat and make sure that the plug ends are properly attached. There's a good guide here: http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/fplugs.htm

It is still recording but only things that were scheduled when the old set was connected.

Anything selected to record since new TV Installed don't record. No error messages, the program's show in the schedule, and the record symbol displays on the EPG.

It's a Panasonic viera tx37lzd80 with a humax foxsat HDR and and humax freeview 9200t

If I press the record button it works.

So, basically, anything you set recently to record on the Foxsat HDR fails to record automatically. Did you unplug the Foxsat from mains power when you replaced the TV? (You should have because it's a bad idea to swap connections on live equipment.)

I recommend you disconnect mains power from it now, wait 5 minutes then reconnect to reboot it.
See if that fixes it. If not, then you might have corrupted something in its memory, in which case a factory reset should fix the problem.

It's highly unlikely that the presence of a new TV per se would cause this symptom.

Thank you

I did unplug everything as the old TV had an inbuilt stand and I had to remove the TV before I could install the new TV and stand.

Does it need scart as well?
