Frame silicone used by mistake

Hi all,

I have accidently used Evo-tick Frame silicone to seal the under side of my plastic waste pipe to the kitchen sink.

It's been on now for an hour, will it still do the same job as a sanitary silicone sealer ?
I have removed the old silicone before using the Evo-stick stuff.

I'm no plumber but I think it'll be fine. However, the gap around waste does seem a bit wonky.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, that was taken before ive applied the silicone, ive put it back now so its straight and no gap

Yeah - should be fine - it's actually not needed as long as the rubber seal and surfaces are squeaky clean.
