Hi guys. I got hold of a 2nd hand Franke Omni 4 in 1 with QHT-1 boiler. Had some leaks here and there, but sorted that out. Flushed system with Kilrock Descaler, all good. Everything works.
Got new Franke 08 filter.
I get hot water from the tank but it doesn't seem like it's 100C. I've changed both Thermostats with new 100C ones. But it still feels like it's not as hot as 100C.

Any ideas what else I can do ?
Shall I change thermostats for higher temperature ones ? I know that's not a good idea because it may damage the heating element.

Have you tried measuring the actual temperature, guessing is simply not enough.

I'll get my meter from my other house on Monday and get actual readings.
But in the meantime any other suggestions would help.

Right, so i got my digital temp sensor readings.
Water from the tap measures 86C.
The tank, at the thermostat measures 96C (which I would say is an acceptable temperature).
Surely the pipe from tank to the tap can't lose 10C in transit.
There are no leaks anywhere.
Should I do a dumb one and change thermostats to a slightly higher rating ? Maybe 125C ?

That will be correct, they don't actually produce boiling, 100C water. 96C is what these thing are designed to produce.

Water from the tap measures 86C.

Likely, that will be a measurement error. Are you using an IR contactless unit to measure it with.

If you do that, the water will boil, and it will never switch off - it can never raise the temperature of water higher than 100C, unless it is in an enclosed space - then it becomes a steam engine/ a bomb.

Good call on that. I'll leave it as it is then.
I'll try another bottle of Kilrock.
