Free loft insulation?

A friend has contacted about three of the firms advertising this including British Gas and they have all said they will not do it because it is a shallow slope loft and needs blown insulation that they don't want to do.

Does anyone know of any firm which WILL do free blown insulation?

This is amazing!

After contacting all the leads for providing free insulation, including British Gas, none were found willing to do it because they all claimed it needed blown insulation.

But yesterday a couple of guys called searching for properties to give free loft and wall insulation, coming from CSCO, the surveyor came 20 min later and its scheduled for installing non blown insulation in 14 days time.

They also said that in a few weeks they may be able to provide free replacement double glazed windows.
