Along with waving lorries straight through without checks to avoid delays!
The U will have open borders after a 'no deal' Brexit.

But the important point is: "could this have been foreseen, and if so, could it have been avoided?"

It absolutely should have been foreseen. It was what some vociferous Brexiteers were arguing for!
Could it have been avoided? No! Not by this incompetent government.

As this debacle gets worse and worse, I wonder what will be the actual point where even the collective quitter finger reaches up to it's collective head and starts scratching in confusion?

So come on quitters, unite the country and join the remainers in calling for a vote on the actual deal if/when it appears!

You apparently knew exactly what you voted for and this ain't it, is it?

We are taking back control by controlling nothing - it will be free movement of Goods, people, services and capital IN but not OUT

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It will decimate UK manufacturers because we will drop tariffs and regulations for imports but then to sell to the EU we will have to meet their tariffs and regulations.

There is a bit more to free movement than the ability to move about freely. Minimum checks and visa free travel doesn’t mean the right to live and work here.

A source close to the Home Office explained that the Border Force would likely have little other choice than to carry on allowing EU citizens freely into the UK as it would not have the staffing capacity, resources, or infrastructure to implement a new registration scheme in a no-deal scenario.

If the government do not have the capacity, resources or infrastructure to implement a registration scheme, then they will not have the capacity, resources or infrastructure to do anything else about EU migrants.

But given that plenty of people on benefits work 'on the black' (is that a john cleese moment?), what is to stop EU citizens doing the same?

Of course we could impose (as predicted) an ID system for everyone: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-policy-exchange-david-goodhart-a8468476.html

Another Brexit 'bonus' which the 'right wing' are drooling over!

Perhaps we should remember the labour party didnt impose transitional arrangements when the A8 members joined.

Immigration, rightly or wrongly has been a major concern for many people. Unfortunately the EU have been blamed not UK governments.

If public concerns had been addressed, we would not be in this situation.

Of course many remainers are divisive, claiming anybody with concerns about immigration: racist zenophobes.

No schitt?
Tell me.. how many of your beloved foreign slackers will come here when we are a nation riven with poverty? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Dumbo. I'm only repeating what your lord Brexit haw haw Rees Mogg has been saying which references the discredited economist Patrick Minford.

See the video above. They say farming and manufacturers can go to the wall.

Your a turkey voting for Christmas. Do you know any farmers?

There wont be a no deal Brexit.

Its all noise.

Probably drummed up by Tories to soften up politicians abd electorate for a marshmallow or 2nd ref
