At the moment I have a garden that looks like a bit of waste land... came with the house.
It has a bit of grass here, bit of ancient horrible paved patio there, broken slabs snaking about forming wonky paths, old stone kerbing and an area of extremely shallow stones with the membrane showing in areas and weeds that grow through.
Plan is to strip all this up and shape a new garden out of the area... problem with that is I have no gardening / landscaping experience so I'm not exactly sure how I want this to look.
I intend to do most of the work myself, including building a deck, laying new turf, paving and areas of new stones/pebbles.
Is there any free software that can be used to create a garden layout?
If not, what's the best paid solution?
Also, any good resources online for guidance on planning out a nice garden area?
