I have a freestanding bath with a crome trap. I have attached a image of instructions .

If I use installation method A. A blank cap goes on bottom of the trap then the water can run straight out wall into a hopper.

But my question is if done this way the u bend does not get added to installation.

So would smell not come up the trap ?

Has to have a trap it you want to go straight out look for Hepvo trap with strait adapter.
Thanks. Just read up on them. They seem good

Can I ask do these traps take longer to drain. As if so may use a s bend and install a different way as the floor is currently up in the bathroom?

Thanks
