French Cleat Fixing

I've got a heavy mirror with a French cleat on the back for hanging it up, but I don't know what the correct wall fixings should be.

Any recommendations?
 
A length of baton screwed to the wall with 3 x 70mm screw should hold it.
You will need to match the mitre on the mirror.

I was just looking on online and saw metal Z bars that might work too. I'd have to remove the batten on the mirror.
 
Looks like 18mm ply...?

I'm currently looking at something like this to hang my mirror.

It would make your gap between the wall and the mirror more like 4mm.

Yes, that's exactly what I mentioned in an earlier post. I think it's a far better option
