Fridge freezer temp up and down

We have a 13 year old Electrolux fridge freezer that seems to fluctuate it's freezer temp. Yesterday it was minus 5 and today it is back up to minus 14. As the kitchen has no radiator and is very cold (can't get a reliable plumber who will fit one) we thought that it may be causing the problem but as it is even colder in the Kitchen today why would the freezer temp go back down again?

As it is old and we would prefer a brand new one, will we still be getting the same problem oris it likely that age is causing it ?

Also, where would we get a new fridge freezer that is energy efficient for no more than £2-300 ?

the temperature is controlled by what the fridge wants colder the room warmer the freezer

you need to warm the room to around 16 or 17 degrees

But the room is now colder and the freezer temp is lower so it doesn't really tally. Also, years ago when we first got it the room s still as cold in winter but we never had problems with the freezer then.

is it a side by side
