I heard today that two friends are having problems both live in council houses, one is having to move to a smaller house lives in a four bedroom kids have grown up and left just one at home he's in genuine bad health so hes on benefits benefits wont cover the rent so he has to move to a smaller house.

The other ones rent is going up, again a four bedroom house kids have all left home he wants to stay in his home so is being forced to pay higher rent.

Don't get me wrong I understand all the arguments, but both have lived in their homes for a considerable number of years.......

Wonder if their houses are needed for these people ?

I can understand people paying for bigger houses than they need and I can understand moving people into smaller homes to give bigger families the access to larger homes but I am sickened how the voice of reason has been trampled on by town hall liberal fascists.

This country is sleepwalking into a wholesale destruction of everything the british and UK culture ever stood for.

Quaint English Churches will fall into disrepair. People will no longer live rurally as all services and spending becomes centralised and we will all be funding Uber Mosques as there comes a wholesale irreversible change to the status quo of the population.

Only 15% of Britons can even be arsed to vote in our broken form of token democracy but when 10% of the population becomes Muslim and with the backing of race discrimination laws , edicts , so called crimes we will very quickly lose our right to shape our country or maintain OUR culture as we will be dictated to by the enemy within.

In 20 years I will weep.
We have no saviour in the form of our own siblings and offsring as they are too immersed in Facebook and the Kardashians to even realise what is actually going on and the media they are immersed in will never tell them and their schools will never tell them and anyone who does speak up will be branded a reactionary racist and instantly discredited.
The guilty parties in all this who I will spit on to my dying breath are the Police and Politicians who have enabled the cosy local govt liberal and socialist fascist idiots to run riot with dreamy idealistic policies supporting imagined injustices. The irony is the real injustice is the one being done to all our loyal taxpaying subjects.

and just to clarify I would never join the EDL or the National Front as they are just opposite extremes of the same idealistic fantasies.

I am but a common or garden English man who is watching the fantastic values of honour, common sense and decency being washed down the drain in the name of multiculturalism.

The analogy to our ruling classes . . .

Its like the 'responsible adults' who get a Staffy as a wonderful family pet and argue the toss with anyone who dares to say this thing isn't a wonderful fluffy bundle of joy that would never harm anyone only to wake up and find their babies being eaten.

The anology is even truer as the 'responsible adults' these days aren't the actual parents and therefore have totally disconnected from their need to protect their offspring and their future and instead self indulge on lazy short sighted selfish service to their children like failing to ensure they are properly fed and educated.

Would your mates waste their own money living in a house 3 bedrooms too big? I doubt it, they'd both sell up and downsize.

Nobody (private or public), should be able to claim any sort of benefit if they have spare bedrooms. They can simply take in lodgers at £65 a week. Refusing to take lodgers is just as bad as refusing to take work.

It is their home - not their house.

Expecting a council tenant to downsize , when they no longer have need of a 4 or 3 bedroomed property seems fair enough to me. Makes perfect sense really.
Gasbanni, not calling you a spreader of untruths, but I used to work for our local council and there's no way prospective tenants would be allowed into a property where council workmen were carrying out repairs/readying the property for the next tenant. ;) ;)

It's my car not my vehicle.

Car and vehicle are the same. House and home are not. You can live in a van and call it your home, even though it is a vehicle.

You can live in a hotel room for several years and call it a home, but it still isn't yours when the government no longer wishes to pay the board.

I'm sure squatters who have stayed in a place for several years, call it their "home", does anyone think that makes it any more "theirs" when the real owner shows up to boot them out.

Home, house, car or vehicle, just words, doesn't make a fig of difference as to whether they have any more or less right to ownership.

It's utter selfishness, arrogance and greed to think they can hold onto large properties that they don't need, but others do, that they didn't pay for, but others did, just because they think it's their "home".

People manage to move thousands of miles to other countries to find work, people walk dozens of miles a day just for water, others have to suffer the hardships of war and poverty.

But OH GOD NO, not the hardship of moving into a smaller place still paid for by others, OH THE HUMANITY!

So Aron, what do you think of my idea of making them take in lodgers?
