My frigidaire wash machine is doing everything but spinning in the spin cycle, What could be the problem?

Do you hear the motor running at all when its supposed to spin? If not, I would check out the lid switch first.

I check the Lid switch of the washer, the motor seems to be running but not movement. I switch the cycle dial to delicate spin it acts like it wants to start spinning, but seems like its locked up. What do you think?

Assuming this is a top load washer and your motor is running but nothing is spinning, I would check the belt out.
