Hi I recently had a front composite door installed. The tradesmen were not able to do the adjustments sadly, they lacked experience (wont be using them again).
Door locks/opens and closes for now but its catching the lock slightly/stiff a bit.
My door has thinner and wider gaps along the door frame and door ie like this:
The bottom left is worse, literally no gap and above that it gets 3-5mm wide roughly. Anyhow its similar like this around the all 4 sides none of the lines are even.
So does this mean the door was not adjusted correctly? And I should see all 4 sides gaps (top, bottom, right and left all even?)
I am also trying to contact tradesmen to fix it, but they are unwilling since they believe the door is not installed correctly. So how can I check if the door has been installed correctly? Use a spirit level along door, frame and all sides to see if its level?
