Front door lock 50mm

I need to replace my front door Yale lock, fitted when the house was new. Unfortunately the builders put the barrel hole 50mm (from centre of hole) from the edge of the door and fitted a 40mm lock. The latch just catches the strike plate which was okay, but now it's worn it sometimes slips.

It seems that locks are only available in 40mm or 60mm, or is it possible to obtain a 50mm lock? Or has anyone any ideas, I don't really want to drill another hole, or change the door.

could you not fill the hole in re-drill the hole and use a door pull turned 90% to a horizontal position to cover the damage
