I am about to order a front door for the house.
I want the main door to be easy to use to move things into the house, and from there on the kitchen and living room both have double doors. If things do not fit through the front door we will have to go around the the back and it is quite a trek and many steps.
I was thinking a 900mm door or maybe 950mm. The wider the door the narrower the side glass panes become and they will end up looking silly. I also found out today that the frame width is 70mm so there will be considerable frame material thrown in as well.
I drew a in-scale sketch with a 950mm door opening but I am not sure how the two panes will look in real life.
Should I make the door smaller or is it OK like this?
