I have an issue with my outside front porch.

There is a space between the brick and the beading where the rain has been getting in. This small 'half brick' is now shaking like a shaky tooth.

What should I fill this gap with?

Also, I would like to go over this 'white' beading again. What should I use to do this?

thanks

What looks like "beading" appears to be some kind of caulking. Or perhaps painted mortar.

And houses are built with bricks and mortar not bricks and silicone - ignore the above rubbish advice MoonMan2 - it could actually create more problems for you.

Remove & clean up the half brick, and the mortar from the pocket.
Probe the base of the post for any rot, and then set the buttered half brick back in and fill any gaps with mortar. You can tape any brick edges to prevent smudging with mortar.
Remove the "caulking" from around the post and, again, fill the gaps with mortar.

The wood rail(?) to the right of the post looks to have degraded, it too seems to have shrunk and pulled away from the surrounding brickwork - probe it for rot.
