My front extension will have between 4 and 6 courses of bricks between ground level and DPC/floor level.
In order to maximise use of period facing bricks, I'd like to minimise use of engineering bricks. Am I safe to use engineering bricks in a stepped pattern so that there's always a minimum of two above ground level, and will this minimise the capillery effect of water soaking up through the bricks and blowing the faces on the facing bricks?
Thanks
Gary
