have lost cd-rom and software quick start guide for my digital camera
any advice on where to obtain replacements would be greatly appreciated
as i need to install on new pc.

Not sure that you will be able to download software though. Perhaps try the contact page - they might take pity on you

AFAIK there is nothing special on CD which is needed to use camera

Try fujifilm website they have downloads for differant models
