Full height conservatory base

Hi i was wondering if someone could offer some advice.

I am installing a full height conservatory, wooden framed. I have at the back of our house a large concrete patio that is well established (its been there years) its approx 3x5 metres and around 250-300mm deep. Could i erect the conservatory directly on this with a small wall around 3 courses high?

If not what would you guys advice.

Even if you thought you could, really the work involved in digging proper footings for the conservatory is not a lot, so why bother bodging it?

The potential work involved in rectifying it if your patio-come-foundation plan fails is 20x the work involved in quickly removing the patio and digging actual footings. I would say it's a foolish gamble therefore.
