Sobriety strikes !!
Her indoors bought some s/h mirror doors (before I was here I add) 18 months ago. I'm trying to fit them and guess what? The ceiling slopes 1" from side to side ( Thanks a lot WIMPEY), Also have to put supports in as WIMPEY decided to use offcut timber to hold the ceiling up, looks like crazy paving in the loft This means I have to either channel out the ceiling to level up or trim the mirrors by 3/4" and the frames.
Anyone got any ideas on which would be the best option? I remember years ago trying to cut old glass and it went anywhere but the line I'd cut, allegedly old glass ages, basically don't want to have to replace 8'x3' mirrors!
