Sobriety strikes !!
Her indoors bought some s/h mirror doors (before I was here I add) 18 months ago. I'm trying to fit them and guess what? The ceiling slopes 1" from side to side ( Thanks a lot WIMPEY), Also have to put supports in as WIMPEY decided to use offcut timber to hold the ceiling up, looks like crazy paving in the loft :!: This means I have to either channel out the ceiling to level up or trim the mirrors by 3/4" and the frames.
Anyone got any ideas on which would be the best option? I remember years ago trying to cut old glass and it went anywhere but the line I'd cut, allegedly old glass ages, basically don't want to have to replace 8'x3' mirrors!

It thought you said you're sober now :!:

I take it you're talking about sliding runners? if so make sure the floor level is okay otherwise you will be wasting your time.Like you said you can have the door mirror cut to size and polish edge by glazing expert or chop it into the ceiling with say 5"x1" timber in front of the mirror door then maybe finish off with 4" coving in front of it to hide out your chopped ceiling or you could cut the channel in the floorboards and put in noggins in between joists then finish off with carpet trim edger etc.
