I am going to be making a sideboard/larder in the next few months for my new house and I am trying to find a good supplier of furniture grade wood. I am not hugely worried about spending reasonable money for good quality or about having to travel to get it (within reason).
I am looking for oak, preferably from a sustainable source and if possible local (i.e. england/UK). Is there anywhere in the North West or down towards the midlands that anyone would recommend, I will travel elsewhere but I tend to travel around those areas regularly.
