Quick one..

At the minute Ive gone from the fused spur through the wall and behind the telly then used a blue plug to connect the telly and power. But the new telly has a moulded plug and isn't on a kettle lead so I can just swap the blue socket for a one gang extention socket to plug the telly in?

Hi Andy,
This is the plug and the current set up.. could I cut the plug off and just wire the blue plug like the old one?

Yes, I thought that.

If you look at the third picture, 'CT101-' can be seen.

Google search brings up a Click connector and they are - well - blue.

I suspect the colour is probably a red herring.

Off topic a bit - I wonder if those blue plugs would be suitable for extractor fans? So when you need to take one down for cleaning or replacement there is no need to stand on a stepladder wielding a tiny screwdriver for the connections?

There is a four pin version (though more usually used for emergency lighting).
