I have been using the Gainsborough 9.5E quite happily for the past 9 months. It recently started leaking. I took the cover of and it seems the Pressure Release Device (PRD) is activated. Water everywhere! Can anyone explain why this would suddenly happen please and what I can do to fix it?

If prd it is like most of recent gainsboroughs all it is ,is a little ball of silicone type stuff and can be pushed back into hole . They usually are still in housing which can be removed with rest of shower in situ
