I have had an 8.5K Galaxy Aqua 3000 fitted but it is not working properly or I'm not using it properly.
We have an isolation switch for it in a nearby toilet and when we are not using the shower the power is switched off.
On the shower facia, there are two indicator lights for power and auto-reset. The power light does not always come on when we switch on the power to the shower.
At first we suspected a water pressure problem but I turned up the valve outside and the rising main valve indoors to increase the pressure and most of the time the power light does come on now.
The problem now seems to be that the shower cannot maintain a stable temperature for a period longer than five to ten minutes. We tend to start it at the maximum heat and lowest water speed which generally works but the water becomes unbearably hot.
When you turn down the temperature control to a bearable temperature it gets so far and then auto-resets often before you have reached a temperature you can shower in.
We can at times get it to a reasonable temperature but after 5-10 minutes it auto-resets and goes cold.
I'm wondering if this shower needs to have the power switched on all the time and would appreciate your observations please.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
