Galaxy Dimension Intruder Output Function

Hi all,

Does anyone understand the purpose of the intruder 04 output function on a Galaxy Dimenion?

According to the output functions table (page 6-91 of the manual I have), this function is only activated when the alarm is fully set.

If I part set the alarm, then this output function is not triggered.

At present I am using part set to turn off certain zones for a night time regime but I observed that although part set will activate the outputs for bells 01 and strobe 02 it does not activate the intruder output.

In fact, not many outputs are triggered in part set mode so I am starting to wonder if I have configured my system correctly.

I have a relay on output header 0003 to drive my home automation system. Output 0003 is currently programmed to output function intruder 04 but this output is not triggered in part set.

Could someone clarify how to use the intruder output function?

P.S. I will get around my problem for now by programming output header 0003 to output function 01 bells which seems to be activated in most cases.

Check 11 - Local Part option in Parameters. It's probably set to off which means you'll only get bell and strobe outputs when part set
