Galaxy G2-12

Please could anyone shed some light on an issue i've got programming my Honeywell Galaxy G2-12. I've sent the front door as an 'Exit' zone, however, when the alarm is set, and the front door is opened to unset the keypad, it goes into a full alarm condition without initiating an entry timer? This can be reset with the code obviously, but the keypad just says 'Intruder Z1001', which is baffling me.

I'm not a full-time alarm installer, this is one that i have installed at my own property. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Sure you figured it out by now but you wanted either of these choices.

FINAL, if you wanted the system to arm after you closed the door.
ENTRY, if you wanted to use something like a button to arm it outside, or allow it to arm after 30 secs. (as an example)

EXIT zones are used for sensors you need to walk past once you start the system unsetting by opening the door.
